Difference between Blue Sapphires from Thailand & Blue sapphires from Srilanka

Do you like blue sapphire and going to buy it? Always keep few points in your mind. Two types of Blue sapphire Gemstones are available in market – Blue sapphire from Thailand and Blue sapphire from Sri Lanka.

There is a very big difference between both of the sapphire. Thailand one gets the dark color not very intense blue. Rough of this type is imported from Madagascar. Most sapphire from Thailand comes heat-treated that’s why it is very cheap or low in prices.

Another one is Sri-Lankan Blue Sapphire. It is high Quality Sapphire, also called “Ceylon” Sapphire. It is very expensive. It is completely natural Gemstone. Ceylon is superior gemstones, with high price tags in markets. Beautiful thing about this sapphire is color of this stone. It comes with intense blue and ‘velvety’ Iustre. Iron and Titanium are responsible for this fine color.
